About Department
Mechanical Engineering department is established in the year 2009. It has 2 laboratories for imparting practical training to the students. These laboratories will help the students to undertaking the project works, fabrication works, maintenance work, etc…
Department Goal
- We aim our academic performance result 100% and state level marks.
- Our target for campus interview placement 100%
- We planned to conduct four association programs like technical seminar, paper presentation and workshop.
- We planned to organize two industrial visits and In-Plant Training for practical knowledge of the students.
Achivements
- Our students achieved state level second in Board Exams last two years.
- Our students achieved first three places in paper presentation from other college technical symposium.
Training programs
- Students trained very well in CNC machine every day at evening 5-7 PM . It helps to work efficiently in industries.
Placement
The Department of Mechanical Engineering helps its students to have enriched knowledge in all spheres of mechanical field and the classes such as Technical Refreshment and Technical Seminar help in elevating the knowledge about manufacturing process. The department gives all its support in different fields like CAD/CAM software training by arranging external sources and certifying agencies. Continuous efforts, we have successfully placed our students in TVS LOGISTICS, REYNOLD CHAINS INDIA, RENAULT,HITACHI, LGB, UCAL, AQUASUB ENGINEERING etc. Our department has showed gradual increase in its Placement from 2010 to till date.
